SBC Day 21: Hey, Your Words Stuck With Me :)

Hasil Ketak Ketik Magic Spell Witch Vera at Friday, June 22, 2012
Hye ;)

One more late post for Summer Blog Challenge! Hee (grin). It's for the Day 21 (June 21) prompt which is asking 'Most Recent Words of Wisdom You Heard That Stuck With You'. Okey, honestly what's in my mind now is all messed up... I mean so many things are playing in and out, hide and seek inside there that I couldn't see any with that 'Wisdom Words' tag. Hehe. It's a very bad traffic jammed in there.... Haizz.. Therefore, to fulfill this prompt, I have to go and reading through some inspirational website to get some ideas on this (sigh). Don't laugh... Hahaha. :p I was touched by some wisdom words from this person:

Do you know him or have you ever heard about him? :) I first know about him when I was participating in the Seeds of Hope Exhibition in USM. I love how he get involved with the efforts to sustain the peace, education and culture all over the world. A brief introduction about Daisaku Ikeda (website):

Daisaku Ikeda is a Buddhist leader, peacebuilder, a prolific writer, poet, educator and founder of a number of cultural, educational and peace research institutions around the world. He is the third President of the Soka Gakkai (value-creating society) and founder of the Soka Gakkai International. Daisaku Ikeda has developed and inspired what may be the largest, most diverse international lay Buddhist association in the world today. Based on the 700-years-old tradition of Nichiren Buddhism, the movement is characterized by its emphasis on individual empowerment and social engagement to advance peace, culture and education.

As I read through the website, I was attracted with his words of wisdom categorized in 'Human Relationship' and 'Hope'. We are always encountering many people in life isn't it? We make friendships, we smiles, we loves, we cries, we hates, we laughs, and there are times too, when we simply have to say good bye and farewells. Maybe, it's dwelling with my current situation that I'm touched with this but let's read some of them. Ok. ;)

"Consideration is training ourselves in the art of encouraging others. The important thing is not just to sympathize with or to pity others, but to really understand what they’re going through. Empathy is crucial. Sometimes just having someone who really understands can give us the strength to go on"

"Hope transforms pessimism into optimism. Hope is invincible. Hope changes everything. It changes winter into summer, darkness into dawn, descent into ascent, barrenness into creativity, agony into joy. Hope is the sun. It is light. It is passion. It is the fundamental force for life’s blossoming"

Thanks to Daisaku Ikeda for his words. :)

That's all for the Day 21 Prompt... Thanks for stopping by... ^_^
